Learning ways to stay positive and feel good about who we are contribute to healthy emotional health. Frederick Living recognizes the importance of self acceptance, laughing and learning to recognize, understand and work through whatever challenges/opportunities we face in life.
- Listen to uplifting music, whether the Philadelphia Orchestra on the big screen, a resident playing one of our grand pianos or a show by a local musical group
- Laugh with others while watching entertaining movies on the big screen
- Have a cup of coffee and conversation in the Oaktree Cafe with our full time pastor
- Give to others through our volunteer program
- Gather around our player piano for a fun evening of singing
- Find support in the comfort of others who understand
- Attend a grief support group
- Take a painting class
- Join the choir and enjoy singing as you entertain others
