Physical well-being starts with knowing how our body works and making healthy lifestyle choices that respect and care for it. How we care for our body impacts not only how we feel on a daily basis, but our overall quality of life. Frederick Living actively promotes physically healthy choices by providing a wide array of fun and exciting ways to stay in shape. To determine a fitness baseline, we suggest starting with a personalized fitness assessment of upper and lower body strength and flexibility and balance that will provide guidelines for classes and work-outs.
- Attend the weekly Simply Healthy Living group that discuss nutrition and wellness
- Attend one of three available levels of physical fitness classes
- Get a massage from our on-site masseuse
- Take advantage of personal training in the fitness center
- Play a game of Bocce or Miniature Golf on our on-site court/course
- Join one of the on-going competitive Wii bowling teams
- Walk our indoor and outdoor walking circuits
- Join the resident-led Advisory Dining Committee
- Take advantage of the exercise equipment in fitness center opened 24 hours a day
